Overview
The quality and number of recreational facilities in a community directly contribute to our quality of life. For this reason, the City of Chanhassen places a strong emphasis on parks, open spaces, trails, and recreation.
The city's Park and Recreation Department operates the Recreation Center and the Senior Center.
We are also responsible for park and trail development and maintenance and the planning, development, and administration of leisure time activities and special events in the community. Read our annual report for detailed information about the Parks and Recreations Department.
