Live reindeer, treats, bonfires, s'mores, carolers, a special visit from Santa, and the annual lighting of City Center Park's holiday lights!

If you are able, please bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to help support Bountiful Basket Food Shelf.

New Tree Lighting Location

Due to the construction of the new Civic Campus, this year's ceremony will take place in the athletic fields just north of City Hall (where the Easter Egg Candy Hunt is typically held).

Tour of Lights

Cost: Free

Help us create a driving tour of residential holiday light displays throughout Chanhassen! Homes displaying holiday lights are invited to sign up to help create this tour through Chanhassen for all to enjoy. Beginning Saturday, December 7, an interactive map will be available on this page to help guide residents through the city-wide tour. All homes registered by December 7 will be entered to win one of our holiday prize packs!

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest

Submissions accepted December 3-5 at Chanhassen City Hall (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily)
Open to all ages
Cost: $5 per submission

Gather your family and friends and have fun decorating a gingerbread house! Prizes will be awarded for the Most Creative and Most Difficult builds. All entries will be displayed at the Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 7.
