What is it?

The City of Chanhassen offers a unique and rewarding opportunity for local businesses to become involved in Chanhassen's multiple community events throughout the year. The annual sponsorship program reaches out to the local business community seeking financial assistance, merchandise gifts, labor, or other personal resources.

Events supported by community sponsorship:

The city is always looking for businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in supporting Community Events and programs. We truly could not bring our events to the community without the generous contributions of our sponsors! If you are interested in demonstrating positive corporate citizenship while gaining greater visibility and valuable exposure, consider partnering with the Chanhassen Parks and Recreation Department.

How Can You Become Involved?

It's easy! You choose how you want to participate, complete a Sponsor Contribution Agreement Form, and we take care of the rest! We have sponsorship opportunities for all levels of contribution, and we will work with you to get involved in the most beneficial way for you and your business.

Benefits of Sponsorship

There are numerous benefits you will receive from becoming a Community Event Sponsor:

Sponsors contributing $1,000 or more will have their logo displayed on event advertising and at special events.
Sponsors will be recognized in the quarterly Chanhassen Connection publication, distributed by mail to over 9,000 area households.
Depending on the chosen sponsorship level, sponsors may have booth opportunities at special events.
Sponsoring special events enhances your image in the community and region.
Sponsoring special events can be an affordable marketing solution for your business.

Title Sponsorship

Title sponsorship offers a unique sponsorship opportunity for businesses supporting a specific event. The benefits of title sponsorship include:

Event title rights: The event will be advertised as “[event name], sponsored by YOUR BUSINESS.”
Your business logo on all digital and printed promotional material
Booth opportunities at the sponsored event
No competing businesses will be present at the event
Automatic inclusion of generalized promotional material as part of the sponsorship program + sponsor gifts at the corresponding sponsor level
Opportunity to renew title sponsorship in successive years
