Streets & Street Maintenance
Responsibilities & Services
The Street Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining more than 113.5 miles of local streets within the city. Primary maintenance activities include:
- Crack sealing
- Ice control
- Pavement marking
- Pothole patching
- Small overlays
- Snow removal
- Storm pond cleaning
- Storm sewer cleaning
- Street light and traffic signal maintenance
- Street sweeping
- Traffic sign installation and maintenance
- Tree trimming
