Overview

The City has established specific zoning standards and design guidelines for downtown Chanhassen. These design standards and zoning guidelines provide a guide for redevelopment projects that occur in the downtown.

These zoning standards and design guidelines were established collaboratively through workshops and dialogue with residents and businesses, as well as workshops with the Planning Commission and City Council. The project began in 2023, and the updated zoning standards and design guidelines were formally adopted in July 2024.
