Overview

The Natural Resources Department, in cooperation with the Parks Department and volunteer groups, frequently schedules community buckthorn removal events at city parks and trails. These events are free to volunteer in. All events are held regardless of weather unless the weather proves unsafe to work in. Volunteers must provide their own gloves and work clothes. Tools are provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own if applicable to the event. See individual event postings for additional details.
